JOY AT XOLOITZCUINTLES CAMP

Young Julian Felix visits the Xoloitzcuintles

TIJUANA –Tuesday May 21 brought a special visit to Estadio Caliente in which players got a chance to play with a young Club Tijuana fan, Alejandro Felix, who fulfilled his dream of meeting the Xoloitzcuintles.

His dream came true thanks to the Dr. Sonrisas and the Foundation for Special Children (FANE), both who contacted Club Tijuana so that the young fan could mingle with the players during a morning practice in Xoloitzcuintles territory.

Sheila Quintana Guerrero, FANE Communications Director, was happy with the hospitality the young fan was given.

“Thanks to Club Tijuana and Dr. Sonrisas for making this dream come true for Julian, a kid with a disability that requires very long treatment,” Quintana said. “They have demonstrated their commitment.”

Julian, the young Xoloitzcuintles fan is receiving treatment to try and control Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Constant therapy sessions have helped it possible for the young fan to be part of activities without difficulty. Club Tijuana hopes for continued successful treatment and therapy sessions for Julian.

Meanwhile, the Xoloitzcuintles continue preparations ahead of its 2013 Copa Bridgesotne Libertadores quarterfinals first leg match against Atletico Mineiro Thursday May 23 at 5:30 p.m. (Pacific) at Estadio Caliente.
