FIELD RENOVATIONS CONTINUE AT ESTADIO CALIENTE

Progress is at 65-Percent as playing surface is being replaced

TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente continues with the renovation process and replacing the artificial turf at Estadio Caliente Thursday May 30 for the FIFA approved Two Star surface


 


The process is more than 65-percent complete since work on the renovation process began six days ago by the sports company Sports Surfacing which will install the Field Turfing Revolution type of surface at the stadium.


 


Installation of the new surface will begin Friday, giving way to laying down a field made by the highest technology and quality on which the Xoloitzcuintles will compete in Mexico’s top-flight league.


 


Meanwhile, Club Tijuana is in Belo Horizonte, Brazil where it will take on Club Atletico Mineiro in the second leg match of the 2013 Copa Libertadores quarterfinals.
