FANS VISIT PRACTICE
Club Tijuana Faithful Get a Chance to Meet Players
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente once again showed its commitment to the fans Sept. 9 at Estadio Caliente during a practice Monday morning.
The fans visit was part of a promotion by sponsoring partners Telcel and the UNEA University, who were in charge of bringing in the Club Tijuana fans to meet their soccer idols.
Great atmosphere during the event in which the Xoloitzcuintles who mingled with the fans, posed for pictures and signed autographs for the fans.
Representing UNEA University, Nestor Tejada, graphis designer, talked about the importance of the visit.
“To come here today and be part of Club Tijuana means a lot to us because it is a great opportunity that we have, Tejada said. “The partnership brings an opportunity so youngsters can continue to study and play sports.”
Gustavo Antonio Diaz, Telcel representative, talked about the great commitment that exists with the soccer club and the reason for having the fans meeting the players.
“We have a great commitment with Club Tijuana and sports in the region,” Diaz said. “That is why we have this meeting. With this visit, we can accommodate our customers and give them something they can’t get during a game, to be able to enjoy their team at field level.”
Meanwhile, Club Tijuana continues with its preparations heading into its match against Club Deportivo Guadalajara in a Week 10 match of the LIGA MX-2013 Apertura Sunday Sept. 15 at Estadio Omnilife.
