CONGRATULATIONS CHAMPIONS
Club Tijuana and Chevrolet award CIX-Chevrolet tournament winners
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintes de Caliente and Chevrolet Motors Tijuana awarded the winners od the second edition of the CIX-Chevrolet tournament Wednesday Sept. 11 at the auto agency in Zona Rio.
It was an excellent atmosphere during the award ceremony in which the hard work and participation of the winners in the tournament played at the Centro de Iniciacion Xoloitzcuintles was recognized. Fidel Martinez, Oliver Ortiz, Bruno Piceno, Greg Garza and Paul Arriola were there to congratulate the different players in this edition of the tournament.
Club Tijuana Sporting Manager Roberto Cornejo talked about the commitment that exists for sports in Tijuana.
“We successfully completed another phase of this tournament along with Chevrolet and we expect to continue moving forward with the objective of creating future soccer players within the Xoloitzcuintles philosophy,” Cornejo said.
Chevrolet General Manager Fernando Hermosillo, Sales Manager Jesus Cercero and Marketing Manager Janis Lopez were here representing the Club Tijuana sponsor.
In an interview, Hermosillo talked about the great steps that the partnership with the Xoloitzcuintles have through the end of this tournament edition.
“We truly feel proud to be part of this tournament, overall, being able to contribute to youth sports in the region,” Hermosillo said.
Club Tijuana players posed for pictures, signed autographs and congratulated the winners after the ceremony.
