TIJUANA- Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente was part of the Volaris eighth anniversary celebrated Tuesday March 4 at the Tijuana International Airport.

 The celebration included a Club Tijuana player autograph session at the sales counter as young fans were part of a great atmosphere during the signing.

Hernan Pellerano, Oliver Ortiz, Sergio Vega and Juan de Dios Hernandez were the players that took part of the special event.

Josue Martinez, Sponsorship Specialist for Volaris, thanked the loyal Club Tijuana fans for participating in the event that served the entire community during the eighth anniversary celebration.

“We are very happy because we are celebrating our anniversary this month in which we turn 8 on March 13,” Martinez said. “We had a good turnout and it is an honor for us to have access to the players and that Volaris can bring them here to the airport where they travel with us. They are here so they can take pictures and get autographs from their favorite players.”

Volaris raffled a team jersey and held a contest for its customers with frequent flyer miles. Vanessa Ruiz Manriquez was the lucky winner. Pellerano presented her with the autographed jersey.

Meanwhile, the Xoloitzcuintles continue its preparations heading into its match against Club Deportivo Guadalajara in a Week 10 match of the LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Clausura Friday March 7 at Estadio Caliente (7:30 p.m. Pacific).
