Club Tijuana 1-1 Aspire Academy (Qatar): Group stage- Week 3
PIMVILLE, South Africa –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente will play in the Future Champions Gauteng 2014 South Africa after finishing in first place in Group C of the international tournament.
Club Tijuana finished group play with a 1-1 tie against Club Aspire Academy of Qatar March 26 at the Football Training Centre to finish with seven points in the standings.
The team coached by Franky Oviedo tied in the third group match in which Cesar Crespo scored for the Xoloitzcuintles.
Club Tijuana will look to reach the final when it faces Club CESD La Djri (Congo) Friday March 28. Club Atletico Mineiro (Brazil) will play in the other semifinal against Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa.
