A RACE FOR BABIES

Club Tijuana is part of Miracle Babies 5K

SAN DIEGO –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente once again showed social responsibility and its commitment to communities on both sides of the border.


This time the Xoloitzcuintles joined forces with the Miracle Babies Foundation for its 6th annual 5K run and walk Sunday May 4 at the Embarcadero Marina Park South. More than 1,500 people participated in the event while another few hundred came to be pat of the event that featured different vendors, a kids zone and another forms of entertainment.


Club Tijuana’s official mascot the Xolo Mayor was there to cheer on the runners and walkers during warm ups and applauded participants at the start/finish line. The mascot also posed for pictures with different families at the event serving as a fundraiser for the non-profit organization.


Miracle Babies is an organization that provides support and financial assistance to families with critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It also promotes the well being of women, children and their families through education and medical care.


Club Tijuana was one of the main sponsors of the event, participating for the second time in as many years.
