THE FOURTH MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON
Club Tijuana will be part of the event Sunday
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente will have an important role in the fourth edition of the International Marathon and Half Marathon Sunday July 27.
The race will begin at Boulevard Paseo de los Heroes at 7 a.m. in which an estimated 3,000 runners from Baja California and other nations will participate.
Club Tijuana’s official mascot the Xolo Mayor and the cheer squad XoloGirls will have a stand outside of the Hipodromo de Agua Caliente where it will keep cheering on and supporting the runners who go by in the boulevard.
The marathon will start in the Zona Rio at the Cuahtemoc roundabout and will lead into downtown and then move on to Boulevard Agua Caliente then onto Boulevard Diaz Ordaz and return to Boulevard Benitez.
The marathon will go through different symbolic areas of the city such as the Calle Revolucion and the monuments in Zona Rio and the statues of Agua Caliente.
