The Xoloitzcuintles trained on field next to Estadio Caliente
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente returned to training on the grassy field next to Estadio Caliente Monday Sept. 8. The team is preparing for its Week 8 LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Apertura match against Pachuca FC Saturday Sept. 13. It will be the first match as Club Tijuana head coach for Daniel Guzman.
The Xoloitzcuintles went through different exercises under the coaching staff before going through some intersquad scrimmages as the team prepares for the LIGA MX match against Pachuca and a COPA MX affair against CD Guadalajara. The Group 3 match is Tuesday Sept. 16 on the road as part of the Week 5, first leg of a home-and-home series.
Some good news accompanied the Xoloitzcuintles Monday morning as Cristian Pellerano and Dario Benedetto joined their teammates for the practice as they are back from injury.
Team captain Javier Gandolfi returned to practices last week, giving Guzman a complete roster for its next matches.
