TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente continues to prepare for its Week 8 LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Apertura match against Pachuca FC Saturday Sept. 13 at Estadio Hidalgo.

Coach Daniel Guzman’s team trained Tuesday Sept. 9 on the field next to Estadio Caliente where it worked on some fitness and mental aspects of the game to prepare for the next match in the Mexican First Division.

Striker Dayro Moreno and defender Israel Jimenez spoke with the media in the mixed zone after practice.

“This past 15 days have been good for the team,” Moreno said. “The team is focused and the team needs to come out and win so that we can reclaim a spot in the playoffs.” The Xoloitzcuintles have shown that they can get good results on the road. We are going there with a different mentality this time. We are going for the three points Saturday.”

Jimenez spoke about the good interaction and integration the team has had over the work it has put in preparing for the match at Estadio Hidalgo.

“We are working hard for this match against Pachuca,” Jimenez said. “This integration (with the coaching staff) has been a good one.
