SPENDING TIME WITH THE XOLOITZCUINTLES

TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente hosted a special group of people Tuesday Oct. 7 during practice at Estadio Caliente. Special guest invited by team sponsors Gatorade spent time with the Xoloitzcuintles.

Gatorade who gave some fans and some of its customers the chance to meet the players made the visit possible.

Jesus Gerardo Zazueta, Gatorade Public Relations supervisor, talked about the initiative both parties take with this kind of events and why they are important to help motivate and get the community involved with the team.

“One of the main objectives for both organizations is t work together to promote sports,” Zazueta said. “One of Gatorade’s strategies is to bring the people closer to the players. We look to bring a long lasting support and enthusiasm to these fans as they are able to interact with their idols. This gives our customers a good feeling about being at the event.”

Meanwhile, Club Tijuana maintains its focus on the LIGA Bancomer MX as it continues with training sessions heading into its match against Queretaro FC Friday Oct. 17 at Estadio Caliente (7:30 p.m.)
