Club Tijuana visits Pachuca FC in Week 3 of LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Clausura
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente visits Pachuca FC Saturday Jan. 18 in a Week 3 match of the LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Clausura 5 p.m. Pacific at Estadio Hidalgo.
The team coached by Cesar Farias arrived in Pachuca Thursday night and went through its final practice Friday morning Jan. 17 prior to facing “Los Tuzos.” Farias talked about how important it is to continue with the strong start to the tournament.
“We are playing a team with a lot of history and we know it will be a complicated game,” Farias said. “We are going to come out trying to play a good game, looking for the three points.”
The Xoloitzcuintles and Pachuca FC have played each other five times in the First Division. Club Tijuana is 3-1-1 against Los Tuzos. The first match against Pachuca was a memorable one. It was Club Tijuana’s first win at Estadio Caliente as members of the First Division. It happened during the 2011 Apertura tournament.
