Club Tijuana head coach talks about Week 4 vs. Monarcas Morelia: LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 Clausura
TIJUANA –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente faces a Week 4 match of the LIGA Bancomer MX-2014 when it hosts Morelia Monarcas Friday Jan. 24 at Estadio Caliente (7:30 p.m.
The Xoloitzcuintles trained at Estadio Caliente Monday Jan. 20 in the evening looking ahead to the second home match of the tournament.
Coach Cesar Farias spoke with the media during a news conference and talked about the first part of the season in which Club Tijuana has gained four points in the standings.
“It has been a good start to the tournament,” Farias said. “We have had good moments and a lot of opportunities. We were able to generate more chances in the last game. We are not satisfied but we like the way we have grown game-by-game. We now face a very important game against a tough rival but we are at home and we know that our fans are with us.
“We invite everyone to come this Friday and to have a team and fans for the same objective.”
The Xoloitzcuintles will continue with preparations heading into Week 4 of the 2014 Clausura with a practice Tuesday Jan. 21. Tickets to the match against Monarcas Morelia are on sale at the Estadio Caliente box office 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and at the official kiosk at Plaza Bonita in National City.
