XOLOITZCUINTLES UNDER-20 TIES VS. ATLAS
Under-17 team loses 3-0 to Atlas FC
GUADALAJARA (Oct. 20, 2017) –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles youth teams played against Atlas FC Friday in Week 14 matches of the LIGA MX.
The Under-20 team played to a 1-1 tie against host Atlas at Estadio Jalisco. Mauricio Cuero gave the Xoloitzcuintles a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute but Christopher Trejo tied it for Atlas in the 50th.
Coach Diego Torres’ team has 14 points in the standings thanks to three wins, six losses and five ties.
The Under-17 squad saw Atlas get scores from Angel Marquez (5th) and Diego Nava (22nd and 45th). Coach Raul Chabrand’s team sits in sixth place in the standings with 26 points.
Both youth teams will next face Chivas de Guadalajara Saturday Oct. 28 in Week 15 matches.
